Time to go home

Since I was in Chicago in June helping Kim with baby Kinsey, Stacey and Kyle asked if I wouldn't mind driving their new, used car back to Utah. They were on a time crunch and I wasn't. So I agreed. I didn't want to do it myself and I was so grateful that Lynn had a conference in Chicago so that he could drive back with me. He was excited to meet little Kinsey... and I think she was excited to meet Poppy!

While he was there, he went to baseball practice with the kids. Here he is throwing the ball back and forth with Trey.

Avery loves baseball and with a little more practice she is going to be really good. She followed Coach Mike's instructions and got into her "ready" pose.

On the way home we stopped in Counsel Bluffs where Winter Quarters is located. We went to the visitors center and had a tour of the handcart museum.

Then we drove over to the Winter Quarters Temple. It is very beautiful. I can't believe that it has already been 8 years since it was built. Wow!!!
