Chocolate Chip Cookies and Grandkids!

I am visiting Kim and her family in Chicago and on Sunday we decided to make Chocolate Chip Cookies. Avery and Trey each had to take a turn putting in the ingredients.

And here they are ready to go into the oven. Now, there could be pictures of us eating the cookies but I will leave that to your imagination. They were done right before the hometeachers came and yes, we did share!

Happy Valentine's Day Honey! This is my sweet husband. I have been married to him for over 30 years. He has been a great provider, a great example, a great friend and the love of my life. Ever since this picture was taken at Stacey's wedding, I can't stop smiling when I see it. I love how he is smiling and laughing with these two precious grandchildren. It just doesn't get better than this! Lynn, I love you!

Isn't Winter Over Yet?

After seeing snow in our yard for the last 3 months I decided I needed to think warm thoughts. When I think warm thoughts I think of warm places I have been. That brings me to think of the Dominican Republic! Just thinking of it makes me warm.
