Happy Birthday Lynn!

Today is Lynn's birthday and I just want to let him know how much I love him and how much I appreciate who he is and who I am because of him. He is a great husband and father and I am truly blessed that he is mine now and forever! Happy Birthday!

July 4th Blessing

On July 4th Mindy and Dave blessed baby Ty. It was really nice to be able to attend the blessing.


Stacey was able to rearrange her work schedule so she and Kyle were there to participate in this wonderful event.


Oma and Opa were up visiting. What a blessing to attend your great-grandchild's blessing. I was grateful that they were able to come and visit during that week since I had just had surgery on my right hand and couldn't do much for myself.
Somehow, I missed getting a picture of Lynn and I there.... probably because it was tricky holding a baby with only one hand. I will have to get copies of Mindy's pictures because I know she took one with us in it. What a nice day it was.

Time to go home

Since I was in Chicago in June helping Kim with baby Kinsey, Stacey and Kyle asked if I wouldn't mind driving their new,used car back to Utah. They were on a time crunch and I wasn't. So I agreed. I didn't want to do it myself and I was so grateful that Lynn had a conference in Chicago so that he could drive back with me. He was excited to meet little Kinsey... and I think she was excited to meet Poppy!


While he was there, he went to baseball practice with the kids. Here he is throwing the ball back and forth with Trey.


Avery loves baseball and with a little more practice she is going to be really good. She followed Coach Mike's instructions and got into her "ready" pose.


On the way home we stopped in Counsel Bluffs where Winter Quarters is located. We went to the visitors center and had a tour of the handcart museum.


Then we drove over to the Winter Quarters Temple. It is very beautiful. I can't believe that it has already been 8 years since it was built. Wow!!!
